@CincyBearcats how did your speedometer read before and now after the software update?

Mine read accurately before the update, and now it reads about 8% low.

a few mph +/- I would categorize as "accurate" - this 8% difference tracks with the tire size change though for sure. That's about what I see after moving UP to 30.5" diameter on mine.

We have looked into extensive ECM programming , I've explored nearly every ForScan parameter and was never able to get the speedo to indicate correctly. Anything I adjusted also effected shift points or caused the ECM to throw errors. The Ford Transit speedometer sensor is intensely simple - nothing more than a magnetic hall sensor on the rear wheel - it is actually very easy to intercept the pulses that are coming from that sensor and change their frequency. I am an engineer by trade but do not have the time to design the circuit to do it but I cannot imagine it would take much.

After it was all said and done, I decided to simply make the mental correction on mileage, speed and fuel range.

There was a company that provided the exact solution in a more elegant package for Marxist nanny state Europeans who had to have "speed validation checks" done on their cars just to get the tags - but it appears they are no longer making it, its been out of stock for a long time.... it could be adjustable on the fly to add 5% or 10% correction.

I've been tracking this product, signed up for the email notification and have been subjected to their incessant marketing emails since May. I've also pinged their support several times asking if/when they will come back in stock. THIS MORNING I finally got the notification that they are back available (seems like a newer version with more settings)
EXPENSIVE but I've been so obsessed with this for months that I bit the bullet to hopefully put me out of my misery

I signed up some time ago and haven’t received a single email from them until today. I popped over here to see if there was anything further to better inform whether to buy or not. I’m going to hit them with a couple questions first, but will most likely order one as well.

Edit: Actually, never mind. I’d hoped—perhaps foolishly, based on some of their language—that the speed signal wasn’t just to the speedo, and that it might help with shift points. SKF says “the original wheel speed signals remain unchanged, so it does not directly adjust transmission shift points.”

I don’t think I care that much ($700) about the speedometer alone.
