I’m interested in the brackets. Do they work on both rear doors? Do you know when you would have them available? Thanks
I’ve ordered more and I expect to be able to ship the out Jan 4th. I only have drivers side available now, I plan to make some for passenger and test them sometime next year. I’m sending you a PM now.

i'm looking to have the same setup. is that door to be keep closed or are you using some flex lines?

I don’t have flex line. Haven’t fully seated the lines inside yet. It seems like I will be able to open that door sparingly at this point, but will be able to if needed “just carefully”.

this mini split is performing tremendously well test wise.

I ran the ac for 4hrs pulling 335watts

and heat for 4hrs pulling 350watts.

right now I’m really happy I went this route.

i'm considering using nokink lines

These work well, the install was pretty easy. The hardest part is getting them over the hinges themselves. I used some aluminum extrusion to build the frame then mounted an underbody box to it. WAY cheaper than some of the turnkey solutions I could find. It'll be nice getting some of the outdoor stuff out of the van.

I got my brackets last week and installed them over the weekend. Install was about 15 minutes with two people. I supported the door with a padded jack, and strapped the top to the roof rack. My biggest tip is to put multiple witness lines around and on the hinge before you start the install so you know exactly where the hinge fit on the door so it aligns perfectly. I'm planning on welding up a ladder on the left side with two horizontal bars that extend to the other door for hanging a box etc. of 1-1/4 schedule 40 aluminum pipe. The fit on these is perfect to the van profile. Thanks for making these @dinocarsfast I've been looking for something like this for a long time

I’d love to see that ladder when you get done. Are you using steel or aluminum? The hinge adapters look great.

I'm a fellow DIYer and very much interested in the brackets. I went to etsy and the brackets were not listed. can you please send me a dm/pm info... thank you,

I ran out of stock and had to order more, Etsy took down the listing since it showed inventory of zero. I should be able to ship more on This Friday, I’m sending a PM if you would rather order them off of Etsy.

Following along as this is definitely a future project. Interested to see if anyone has made a rack from 8020 using these đź‘€
