Update to the seat covers unlimited issue. They are creating a replacement set and sending them out today! That's the right thing to do imo. I'll report back with the quality of the new set.

Looking for seat covers for my 2020. Cheaper Ford Parts sells Covers by Covercraft with a part # VFK4Z-16600D20-AA. The description is for the Transit but the part number comes back as not compatible with my VIN. Anyone use the Covers by Covercraft on their 2020? How do they fit?

I have been thinking to order this for Transit
After a bit of research, I've realized there are air bags on the door sides of each of the cabin seats. Make sure whatever you order accommodates them. Wet Okole Seat Covers has a drop down on the order page that asks specifically for the seat air bag placement on your vehicle. Super helpful and reassuring

Curious what the cost of this was? I have the exact setup with the 2nd row double seat.
I don't know what Katzkin charges because I had my upfitter order and install them, but I don't think you can purchase directly. They have to be installed by an approved upholstery shop. I was charged $1300 for the front seats and $1300 to install and recover the second row (I started with a cargo van).
Back when I had the van done the wife was making tons of cash and I was spending it as fast as it was coming in. I was like a kid in a candy store.
Lately I've been daily driving a passenger van with the cloth XLT seats and I prefer cloth seats over leather as long as we're not carrying a white long-haired dog.

I've been using Wetokole in numerous vehicles over the years so I had some made to match my OEM interior and am loving them. Waterproof, durable, and tons of color and "Pocket" options. Not cheap, but really well made.

Anyone have experience with the Ford covers? Transit 2015-2023 Front Captain Seat Covers in Charcoal. The fit/look is really disappointing per this review, but looks better in the Ford site photos. https://faroutride.com/seat-covers/

Or with the Covercraft "Spacer Mesh Precision Fit" or "Microfiber Custom Fits"? https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/covercraft-spacer-mesh-custom-seat-covers.CGT-GTSM and https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/covercraft-microfiber-custom-seat-covers.CGT-GTMI. I'm guessing the mesh is less durable, and certainly not water resistant, but maybe worth it for the breathability and price? They claim to have tear-away panels for the airbags.

The Wetokole's are also interesting, except for reviews I've found complaining of "swamp butt" in the summer (very believable, given the neoprene). Any thoughts on that? I'm also not a fan of the extra padding and puffy look.

I'm looking for good fitting, reasonably priced cloth covers to protect from sweat and grunge. And they have to perform as well as the beach towel I've been using, e.g., minimal swamp butt. If any other ideas....

Thx!
DH
