I need a 12v power connection for accessorizes I'm wiring into a 2020 Transit.
With the batteries being under the seat is there a 12v spot under the hood?
BTW if van needs a jump start is there also (or maybe) same 12v connection?
Thanks

About 9:05 on the video of the red van in the link.

I do not know what year your van is so this the owners manual for my van (2016)

There is a 535 Amp Fuse between the Jump Off Stud and the batteries, The starter and engine are also on this circuit. I do not know how many Amps you plan to use so a direct connection to the under drivers seat batteries may be better, Forum search CCP. (Customer Connection Point)

kai38,

If your Transit has up fitter switches, the earlier models have a up fitter connection point under the hood, so that holes didn't have to be drilled in fire wall.

Good luck

Thanks ..it is a 2017..It seems there is a red cap covered post near the fuse box that is used along with a metal post on the hood hinge. This is what I gather from the internet. Hope that is correct if I need it. Thanks all for the replies.
