My 2017 T350HD Paseo has nuts with a slot near the base flange to hold the factory wheel simulators. Away from the rig so can’t check sizes.

DRW lugnuts are NOT tapered- you must use nuts with the integral semi-locking washer.

Ford part number BK3Z-1012-A

 

Thus the confusion.

And then there is this:

Dorman 611-196

which states it doesn't fit.

So is this 611-196 the correct part? And the link above is not taking into account it is a dually?

 

If you look at the application list for that part number it appears to be used for truck bodies and not Transit. Apparently Transit has different thread pitch.

 

But in my link in the first post, it says the 3.2 L dually (DRW) uses M14x20 while the other styles (not DRW) use M14x1.5.
And when you look up that size nut, it says it doesn't fit but there isn't a dually/non-dually option to select for the nuts.

So, on the Ford parts site, it shows:
See description of 1012B which says dual wheels

but when you google those, there is am image of an acorn nut not flat like in the Ford part image - except for the dorman site which says they don't fit.

I know this is an old thread, but my 2015 350-HD DRW with Ecoboost has 14-1.5 pitch threads, NOT 2.0 pitch. Also, the correct socket size is 21 mm, NOT 13/16, which could probably be persuaded to go on, but is too tight and might get stuck.

 

BK3Z-1012-A is what you want- it isn't rocket science-
What you think are part numbers are not-Ford uses callout numbers on their website which can be the same for many different nuts.

 

Ok, so the specs on BK3Z-1012-A according to FordPartsGiants.com is that the thread is M14x1.5. I used my VIN# for the search.

and the link in my first post shows M14x2.0 for all 3 of the DRW options. 3.2TDCi DRW, 3.5GTDi DRW and 3.7Ti DRW

 

Thanks everyone. I took one off and took it to an auto parts store to measure and it is indeed M14x1.5. Sorry I doubted the experts here. :blush:
