The in-vehicle ESN of our Transit 350 HD AWD/Coachmen Beyond RV doesn't match the ESN in My Account on the Ford website. As a result I can't download a Navigation/GPS map update. Technical support instructed us to have the Ford dealer reprogram the APIM (Accessory Protocol Interface Module) which we had done yesterday. Still the same issue.
Before delivery of the RV to us the vehicle had a check engine light issue and it took another Ford dealer several tries to fix that by replacing an unspecified electronic module. Maybe they replaced the modem, maybe not.
Anybody know how to cure this issue? When we told Ford support the reprogramming didn't work, they told us to go see the Ford dealer, without any hint at what might really be going on.
