Which lighting package do you have?

On my Focus with HIDs, the cornering lights (and adaptive headlights) only function on the AUTO setting. If the switch is set to the ON setting, both those features are disabled.

Yes I tried that too thinking it would turn off the corner lights but that doesnt turn off that feature.

 

Have you played around any with Forscan?

I was able to set my fog lights to also operate as cornering lights via Forscan. Not sure if there's a separate setting for the cornering lights that are in the HID assemblies since that wouldn't have been relevant to my build.

I've heard different people talk about Forscan but wasnt sure if I was looking at the correct app. I see a paid version and free(lite)? Also wasnt sure if I needed something else in order to make adjustments with that app..

 

You need an USB to OBD adapter with MS/HS support and a laptop.

You can get an extended 2-months version for free.

PS: My van has factory HIDs and yes, there's an option to deactivate the cornering lights on FORScan.

Ok, I have the opposite request....the cornering lights are great when offroad. Has anybody figured out a way to turn both them on continuously?
