Future work - This mock-up will be the basic design of the shower box door. Marine cleats are to be used as coat/hat hooks.
This is how I communicate with Ed as to what we are imagining. I will do a Photoshop mock-up and Ed takes it from there and creates the reality.

Stunning. What is the large box in front of the rear doors?
50 Gallon Fresh Water Tank. It is boxed over with wood and auto carpet so Lithionics External BMS can be mounted to front facing side of it and we can store stuff on top of it. Rear seating area and under seat storage is framed out in Black 8020 over it. Thank you for the compliment!

2024 Ford Transit HD350 "Ghost" Touring Van Build Progress;
Cabinetry for Isotherm DR130 Marine Refrigerator is being fabricated from 3/4 Marine Plywood with African Sapele Mahogany veneer. This will be topped by Hickory and Mahogany Butcher Block countertop. Appliance garage will be above of countertop Breville Microwave. To the right side of the refrigerator will be a pull out pantry drawer.
Sample drawer front is being mocked up out of 3/4 Marine Plywood with African Sapele Mahogany veneer and framed with solid Mahogany edge pieces. The drawers themselves will be full height solid 5/8 mahogany that will be dovetailed together. Latch is Stainless Steel Marine cabinet latch.
We chose the Isotherm marine refrigerator because it runs on DC power and can handle being in constant motion and not always level.
You can also see the raised Teak & Holly step which will hinge up for storage underneath.

2024 Ford Transit 350 HD AWD Dually "Ghost" Touring Van Build Progress;
Shower and Backsplash Tiles have all been grouted with Epoxy Grout.
Shower Box door frame has been fabricated, finished and installed.
Refrigerator cabinet has been fabricated and installed, Isotherm DR130 Drawer refrigerator installed.
"Happy Jac" elevator bed has been full trimmed with solid Mahogany (complete with Interstate Vans & Ghost logos laser engraved).
The ceiling panels under the "Happy Jac" elevator bed have been finished and Mahogany center strip with classic Marine Cabin Lights installed. To add further illumination LED strip lights installed full length along the Aqua racing stripes on each side.
I really think Eddie Trayner of Interstate Custom Vans https://interstatevans.com/ nailed the theme which was match the aesthetic of the 1962 Riva Aquarama which I consider the most beautiful boat ever made.

2024 Ford Transit 350 HD AWD Dually "Ghost" Touring Van Build Progress;
Electronics Installed and wired in. Protective wood over the actual Hickory & Mahogany countertop while Eddie Trayner is working. Breville Microwave will go on countertop then above it a large Mahogany shelf for assorted appliances, etc.. and a smaller Mahogany shelf for charging various devices. We put in multiple outlets and they have USB ports built in. The Garmin SERV touchscreen is on a magnetic mount and is removable so you can control & monitor pretty much everything in the van from it. Very happy with the wood work as it really has the yacht interior vibe

The workmanship is outstanding.

I am very curious to learn more about that Garmin SERV system. Can you let us know what it is able to control?

Eddie Trayner is working on the Galley lower cabinet and countertop. That countertop will match the appliance garage countertop when done.
There will be a drop down table on the outside galley cabinet for cooking outdoors when the Van side door is open. Light switch panel, 110 volt and USB/12 volt outlets are being installed as well.
