Just noticed this evening and it's already spread over and up the passenger side just today.

Anyone seen a crack start from the middle like this? Right above the passenger side wiper arm in the middle of the windshield. No rock chips or anything visible. It's been in the mid to high 20s (f) here this week so wondering if the cold could cause this? And any recommendations for replacement around the Seattle metro region.

Thanks all and happy new year!

It happened to me in my 2016 wagon. Thought it was a stone that caused it. Here in Az we get 2 free windshield replacements a year in our insurance policies. So when they replaced it, I had them look and they found no signs of a chip. My guess is a defect in the glass.
