Anyone else get this? It sounds like a power steering pump with no fluid, changes pitch with rpm.

I am pretty sure my van has always done this, I only noticed because my daughter's school bus is a Transit and is silent but for the exhaust. I checked my power steering fluid and it is full.

I plan to get it into the dealer, just wondering if this is a common issue.

Mine is a 3.7 gasser.

Theres a TSB for leaky power steering pumps... get it checked out.

Yeah, mine is the ecoboost and it whines and moans especially when cold.
