I have searched this forum quite a bit and found many of you folk pleased with the OMAC liners. So I ordered a set for my 2023 Transit, front. The rear liners are out of stock.
The liners were delivered yesterday. My first impression is that they are much tinner gage than I would have expected. Are they actually thick enough and rugged enough to be effective?
Only one self tapping screw and one "piston fastener" was included! I am working that out with OMAC.
Please forgive my questions as I have not done much of this type of work on automobiles.
Does the wheel need to be removed to install the liner?
Should the liner be slid under the plastic trim around the fender?
Some of the threads I have read here mention using stainless steel bolts and fender washers to fasten the liner in. I do not see any access to the inside where the nut would be. Is there a trick to installing bolts & nuts?
Your assistance is most appreciated.
