Hi,

I'm sketching out our conversion layout (see image) and want to make sure I've got my estimates right.

Three questions:

1) What is the depth of the 36", 2-seat bench that has arm rests and can recline?

2) How much room do I need to leave behind that seat to fully utilize it's recline? I think I read 4", but can anyone please confirm?

3) What is the "standard" distance between the front of bench seat and the back of the driver seat? We want to put a removable table in that space, so I'm trying to understand how many inches I should budget for that.

Thanks in advance,

Forest

I don't know if you still need this info but:
1) The bottom depth of a standard seat is about 21 inches.
2) my non recline seat has 5+ inches behind the bottom for the seat back.
3) My distance from the start of the passenger floor (cargo compartment) and my bathroom wall (behind the seat) is 41". I have a table in front of the passenger seat. Any tighter would be really really cramped.

I believe I measured the back sticking out 9" at the headrests from the back of the floor mount (I could be wrong). I have the "reclining" 3 seat bench, and it is pretty minimal. 4" at the headrest sounds right.
