Sure it intrudes on floor space but not by much. It's a far better solution than my Sprinter roof top unit for me. I bought the oem piece that runs from the floor unit to the ceiling and bends 90d. The vertical part is covered by my oem wall panels. So now I have very efficient rear air on a vehicle that fits in my garage. The dogs are happy, too. Just got back from a local breed show. Temps mid 90s. Everyone comfortable and I was even able to idle a bit without dread.
what's in that box behind rear driver wheel well?
Really, what's it for? It sticks out farther than the wheel well in the pictures I see, making it hard to put in a piece of plywood/sheetrock when you take the seats out. (Passenger van)
