Noob here with a 2020 T250 LR looking for help/advice. I plan to install (or have installed) the weather guard bulkhead 96301-3-01D or 96302-3-01D, with the optional door. The van is untouched and needs a floor covering in the rear as well. Do you think this is a DIY? I am not concerned with anything other than drilling into a fuel line, seat belt mechanism or airbag. Any advice on what to get for a floor and whether to have this done by the Pros? This is my first work van , as I've always had pickup trucks prior. Thanks for your time.

Welcome to the forum.

Lots of options, and opinions.

I cut 1/2” foil covered foam from Lowe’s to fit in the valleys of the floor, then laid the same foam cross ways. These were cut using the rubber mat as a template. The 2015 BEMM recommendation was 3/8” plywood for flooring. Many here have used thicker. For me, next was three sheets of 3/8” Baltic Birch 5’ X 5’ plywood with 2” half lap joints, such that the middle piece laps layed on top of the front and rear pieces. (Spare plywood was added to the sheets to make them wide enough). These were temporarily screwed together, then cut using the factory rubber mat as a template. Next the plywood was unscrewed and installed in the van, gluing the together using the wood epoxy saturation technique and re-screwed to hold until the epoxy cured, making the floor monolithic. The top and edges of the plywood were also coated with epoxy to prevent moisture intrusion.
