How to service and possibly re-seal the sideview mirror blinker assembly?

Check on YouTube for removing blinker from mirror. Same as F150.

Basically you pop the mirrors loose from the attachment points inside the mirror assembly. Sounds scarier than it is.

You can then access the screws that hold the blinker to the mirror.

It sounds like you might have a small crack in the lens. I have one in mine from a disagreement with a door frame.?

I recently added the lamps to my mirrors and getting into them was not difficult.
