The only ones able to get the mod are ones who are showing fault codes.
No fault codes No new airbox cover.

A few here have bought the new airbox cover on their own without showing fault codes.

Hey everyone, I am new here.
Went to replace my air filter today in my 2018 Ford transit 250 and yep, you guessed it, the air filter was soaked to the gills. In addition, the housing box inside was also wet. The air filter is oddly shaped as you know. The “smaller” end of the filter housing (bottom half) has a tiny hole in it....makes me wonder if somehow water is being sucked in in rain or snow??
I will try and attach a pic or two.
I plan to contact the dealership about this and also will be periodically checking the air filter.
I will provide updates soon!

There is a TSB for replacement of the upper airbox cover. Show this to the dealer and tell them you were having problems with the van running properly and that the check engine light came on.

Also, search the forum for "T.U.R.D." it ahould give you plenty of results of this nature!
