This Self Build took a year and a half to complete. I finished it last July, but I was waiting until I wore out the factory tires fit the final component - the lift. I had Hazard Fab works take care of the lift install for me.

Wow, I know where that is. Maybe I’ll see you out there.
Are you from the Seattle area?
I’m from Vermont and I spend a great deal of time in Washington between Oly and North Bend. That was my first time to the Feathers. I visited there on my way to Spokane for the lift. Looking forward to heading back, but now I’m headed to Oregon for some White Water rafting.

Cool! Love the ambiance.
I need to take a night picture to really show the ambiance. I’ve been living full time in it for a year now and it’s so comfortable. When friends offer me a spare room while I’m visiting, I turn down the offer.

Looks great. Love the interior. Very Impressive work on the storage structure/slide.
Will you be positing any more build photos on your web site?
Eventually, I stepped away from all social postings for a while. This is actually my first social post in about 8 months.

Looks good. Time to start on the next one. :D
That’s the key to knowing that you got it right. She works perfect. Achieves every level of comfort and functionality I strives for.

The next one I build will be for someone else. This one stays with me. She’s “home” 😁

Aces on the build, fantastic.
Your front bumper area is awesome. I'd be nervous the receiver on front might hit pavement and trigger the airbags. Have you had any clearance issues?

Again great work
No, but I’m mindful when of my speed when approaching an angle or curb. If you go slow, the air bags are not triggered by an impact.

Great job! Love the portable shop capability. I would be curious to see your basic floor plan dimensions, as in what are the dimensions of the garage area and of the bed area especially. What is the width of your bed (is it only for 1 person or is there room for 2)? Nice to see a creative layout in a Medium Roof Transit.
