Hello from Montana...
We have a 2020 Ford Transit High Roof Extended van. We have started with the build and actually have the electrical system in with the help of my brother who is an electrical engineer and the lead mechanic for a local ski area. So, we are in good hands for the electrical although we still need to actually wire lights, put in walls, ceiling, and cabinets. We have an elevated bed out of IKEA slats that sits on two pillars made from 8020. However, we are just running out of time as we don't have the time and effort to finish it nicely as we want at this point....

Anyone know someone in Montana or northern Wyoming who is competent in doing 8020 framing for cabinets, installing a Maxx Air fan, Webasto and mainly finishing carpentry work?

Please advise.

Thanks!

If you are willing to come a little further south, I'd recommend looking into AVC Rig. They specialize in Transit builds and seem to be willing to do piecemeal work.

Here's two outfits in MT, one in Bozeman and one in Drummond. Looks like most of their work is on Sprinters but maybe they could help?

Thanks, I'll check them out. I think that is the issue is that some only want the full meal deal and don't want to do any of the piecemeal work.

Thanks, I've checked out BT Vanworks but they want to do the entire build. Great people and beautiful builds. I'll check out the other one though. I might be better off looking for an individual that may have the skills involved... But, thank you! Much appreciated.
