Just had our 2014 Connect XLT work van (133K mi.) transmission serviced (fluid & filter) because it started whining and it was time. Barely 6 days later it starts slipping, engine revving and jumps out of gear on inclines at freeway speeds. Any thoughts or TSB or other issues that’ll help us?

This can happen when you change the transmission after that many miles. The theory is that the gears/clutch packs are wearing and the old thicker fluid that is also filled with metal shavings is helping it hold together. When you replace the fluid it starts to slip as the new fluid is very thin. Here is video from ChrisFix that helps explain it in more detail. Watch the whole thing but around 5:40 mark is where he speaks about this specifically.

You can also try some Lucas Transmission stop slip. Could have a slight improvement.

There are plenty of additives out there, you have nothing to lose at this point...tough part is getting it into the transmission, the dipstick and fill tube are tucked way up underneath.
