Drove by Uftring Ford this morning in East Peoria, IL and they have a large inventory of Transits on the lot. Most work-type stock, but also have a 350 DRW Diesel van in white with High Roof. If you are in a hurry for delivery might be worth a call.

Anyone thinking about a diesel may wish to reconsider.

My understanding is that it is a relatively toxic fuel, you want to avoid being around it in all its forms - pre and post combustion.

Go eco.

Yes it could possible to adopt electric vehicle otherwise it will difficult to stop pollution.
Or go with the 3.7L engine and get the CNG/LPG option and have it converted if you want a cleaner burning fuel.
Too bad they don't offer the CNG/LPG option on the diesels...I saw a big rig the other day with a diesel engine running on CNG.
As to which is the more "relatively toxic fuel" I'm not going to drink a shot of gas or diesel.

However, just when I was beginning to get interested in diesel the Diesel Exhaust Fluid mandate delayed the introduction of many diesel vehicles. The early stories of DEF nightmares were very discouraging. Although many of the criticisms launched against "piss" (as the urea based DEF was nicknamed) may be false - the dealer's ignorance of DEF was a complete turn off.

The final blow was when I was considering a VW Golf & wanted a GAS 2 door hatch manual trans. Goofy salesman signed out a 5 door automatic DIESEL for a test drive. Why waste my time? So we drove it through the huge car lot looking for 'my' Golf w/o success. All he had was a GTI & when we got out to look at it the stench from the idling diesel almost made me puke!

I like diesels I drove a 1981 VW diesel 110,000 miles and loved the 55 MPG highway and 40 MPG city mileage. I have wanted another diesel since but Fords $6,000 option charge for diesel turned me off.

My 1981 rabbit diesel was $170 more than a gasser. Now that I have a transit instruction book there are reams of pages describing all kinds of things about their diesel. Many many things to keep track of, to watch and monitor all with precautionary directions. Too darn fussy for me.

Then there's always this...
