I'm trying to help my Transit run cooler when towing and to that end, I see a part #DK4Z6A642A , called out by Ford as engine oil cooler. The part looks similar to aftermarket spin-on oil cooler adapters. I can't remember seeing this part when I changed my oil six months ago and I'm not at home to verify. Is this part on all Transits or is it optional?

Fairly certain it's standard on all Transits. The part number shows as applicable for the 3.5L and 3.7L models, and there's a different oil cooler design for the diesel models. My 3.7L engine has one.
