it would be nice if any of you high milers would take a second to comment if youve had any issues in those miles and what engine youre running and what youre using the van for....

sock swaybar links or aftermarket???

Did you replace with Ford parts or was there an aftermarket replacement for the swaybar links? Mine dont even have 10k on 'em and theyre shot. Hoping maybe MOOG makes a set. I rarely have weight on my van FYI. Not sure why they failed.

Me! I'm just over 100,000. Had the giubo replaced and the transmission flushed. That's all. I will be doing the spark plugs real soon.

106,000 miles on my 2016 LWB MR wagon with the 3.5L EB
Replace sparkplugs, routine oil change and coolant flush.

A fleet operated vehicle with multiple drivers.
The one off:
1) Gas filler door hinge flimsy (broke at 82,000 mls) seen a few with completely missing doors
2) Heat shield completely seperated from the body

3) Broken rear door hinge latch
4) Broken sliding door lock
Recurring:
1) Twice engine warning and reduced power, problem disappear as fast as it shows up.
2) Check engine light (conveniently disappears before it goes in for servicing. Fixed at 99,000 mls Crankcase pressure sensor
3) Howling sound at the rear during low speed maneuvers. Repeated attempts at fixing during rear brake servicing, lead to a temporary fix. Suspect bad caliper.
4) The Guibo! 3rd unit was the first one to show cracks and tears. 'Permanent' fix 10,000 miles ago.
Just bad luck
1) Hit deer twice.
2) West Texas wind damage to driver side door.
The Good:
1) The power of the 3.5L
2) Low loading floor
3) Relatively good economy
4) Easily cleaned interior
5) Carlike handling and ride (to an extent)
Hate
1) SYNC 2
2) Sliding door "steps" more like a launching pad
3) Really Ford could you not put the antenna mast somewhere else?

Great summary f250! Mine is pretty similar on my 2015 T350. 112k

The hinge, lock and fuel door issues are from hamfisted emps/drivers. I’ve had none of those problems with heavy use because I own it and am more careful.

I'm more interested in mechanical failures rather than accidents (fuel door, hinges, etc).

Are there typical failures other than the guibo that people encounter at or before 100k?

Almost 177,000. It's a 3.5L Ecoboost medium roof. I need a transmission flush and maybe need the cylinders cleaned, but even with these problems, I'm at 17.3 mpg - and the roof A/C brought it down from 20+. Love my Transit!

How the heck are you getting that mpg? Are you only driving 55mph everywhere? I just got back from Oregon, and averaged 14.6 for the trip, and I was averaging about 65 on the highway. 4 people, 200lbs gear. YES, on the stretches where I was driving 55 because of traffic or roads, I was getting 19-20mpg.

Turned over 100,000 miles on 8/29/17. Currently have 118,445 as of 7/4/18.

My costs have averaged: $12.24 for diesel, $5.39 repairs, and $1.56 oil changes and DEF per 100 miles, assuming an average of 3,393 miles per month.

Just completed a professional conversion by Sherrod Van Conversions to remake it from a 15 passenger van hauling others to a 6 passenger luxury personal road trip van with wheelchair lift (by AMS Vans).
