I messed up when I got my van. I forgot to measure the height of the bumper, rear wheel well etc from the ground while it was empty. Im just curious where it's supposed to be and how much I loaded it down.
Probably not much help to you but here are 2 pictures of my empty T350 QuadVan. "They" say a QuadVan lift adds ~2" but I have no way of verifying that number.
The measurements I stated were for my van, "empty". The passenger seat has been removed but replaced with some open cabinets. I've added a floor, bed, insulation, ceiling, 4 rows of E-track, 4 E-track ratchet straps, 12' of ⅜" grade 70 chain with hooks, a pair of 6 volt batteries @ 75 lbs. each, small Engel refrigerator, a bunch of other junk. Last time I was on a scale I weighed 7160 lbs. with me in it.
Ok cool. Last time I measured I'm at 30-1/2" inches rear wheel well.
I weighed earlier this week at the scrap yard. With me in it I'm at 8700lbs. ! I'll be closer to 8900-9000 once I get my last order from American van.
