I just took delivery of my T350. Loving it so far. Looking for some wheel upgrade options, and not finding much of anything, including the dealer. Anyone come across anything in the States yet? I'd love to increase the rim diameter, but looks like it might be tough to do with the dually wheel set up(?). Thanks for any/all input.

I don't blame you one bit.

the Transit is great looking except when it comes to wheel choices.

On the 150 we ordered, it comes with some cheap looking dollar store looking hubcaps, upgraded them to the factory alloys...

Congrats & welcome. The Transit is so new that it probably won't have much aftermarket wheel choices for awhile, especially for the DRW's. My guess is it will be another 6 months or so before you see much of anything.

Red through our threads and keep us informed of your fuel mileage and ownership impressions if you would.
You might also go to your profile and fill in a signature with your basic options and engine choice so we know what you're driving.....

You could get the stock steel wheels chromed, or powder coated in a single stage reflective chrome. It gives more of a polished aluminum look than actual chrome plating. Like a big rig dually. I was considering powder coating mine with a dark bronze metallic color to set off the Green Gem Metallic.

Thanks for the posts. Still nothing nearly 6 months later. Local inquiries to custom wheel manufacturers have went unanswered. Sad when you have money to throw at someone.

that should at the very least get them to start taking action unless they don't just yet see potential for it, that it might be viable enough for them.

Google 'Ford Transits at 2014 SEMA Show' and there are a few listed vendors who have wheels and other aftermarket items for the Transit. I know they have at least 3 different aftermarket wheels and Explorer Vans is using them on their custom built Transits.

I was at SEMA last year. All the transits with custom wheels, were one-offs, or so I was told. Wolfrace makes some wheels for our transits. They are a German company, and the website I saw them on is a UK one.

Yes, thanks... only one of the three responded to phone or emails, and they told me they just coated the stock wheels on one, and added covers on the dually. The original photos were Photoshopped per below, then what was actually at SEMA.

I think I figured out a way to get the factory Ford front center cap to work on the rear wheel. The center cap snaps over the nuts. The reason they won't snap over on the rear wheels is because the studs stick out about a half inch. On the front wheels the studs are flush with the nuts. I think if you double nut the rear wheels the front center caps may work on the rear wheel. I'll let you folks know if I have any luck.

Any updates to the larger wheel sizes? Looking to purchase a transit this year, but not till I can update the anemic looking 16inchers..Looks like KD has some 18 in, and motometal has 17s.. Will I need to go with a E rated tire on a MR 250 148? thanks.

I have a 2015 T-250 diesel ordered from Sherrod conversions. They're doing a mobility conversion for me. I've been looking all over for wheels here's some of what I've found.
Explorer vans use these http://www.ebay.com/itm/331694551879?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
My guy from Sherrod showed me these by Ion the ones on white and gold van.

There's a few other choices out there or you can try an adapter.

Explorer no longer runs those wheels and have reverted back to the stock size wheel. I'm not sure why, but they did.

Finding wheels that look good and fit properly has been a real exercise in futility so far. I have to think there will be more options soon, with the number of them on the road.
