Does anyone know which fuses I could add an add-a-circuit to (or which wires I could splice) to get switched voltages? I'm looking for an accessory source and a reverse signal...

Okay, that was easy... the reverse light is fed by a green wire with a brown stripe. I found it under the dash... it's just behind the small fuse access door on the driver side bottle holder. Probe and make sure you've the right wire... Remember to not overload the circuit (I'm going to feed a relay)

Just a warning- do NOT use the old "needle stick through the insulation test light" to probe on a canbus vehicle. Could cost you thousands if you stick the wrong wire....

bigsteve80,

Here is a post from TheLoxmyth back in August regarding the reverse wiring, to confirm your find, he includes pin & plug. He had a couple of pictures in that Thread, but they aren't showing up now, possibly he deleted them.

REVERSE LIGHT - GREEN/BROWN
LOCATION
BCM/DASH FUSE BOX
BROWN 46 PIN PLUG B
PIN 44
So find the bcm/fuse box and look for the brown plug connector with 46 pins. the 44th pin will be green with a brown stripe. Use your DMM to test.

Can someone tell me where this c12-A connector is? I opened the cup holder Area and I don't see an extra connector. Mines a
2016 148 MR Ecoboost 15 passenger.
Both the C11-H connenctor (under the hood) and the C12-A connector(under the center console, accessed by removing the coin tray/cup holder) have 20A switched fused 12v circuits as well as an always hot 20A fused circuit and two pass through wires. They are detail in:

I know this thread is a few months old, I am having the same issue trying to find switched 12V (ACC) wire to run to my aftermarket head unit. The factory radio connector doesn't have switched 12V power only constant

I took apart my cupholder area based on the post above, can you confirm the connector circled in red is the one you are talking about?

I did find switched 12V on one of the wires, is it safe to tap into this wire? It is blue with an orange stripe and on the bottom/underside of the connector as pictured here.

Edit: edit to fix my misremembered colour of the wire in my previous post. I tapped into the wire with a posi-tap and all is working now.
