No pun intended. I visit construction sites for a living, so I see a few nails. I've used a lot of different "fix a flat" type products. The Slime aerosol is the only one worth having. It seals better than the competition and continues to function throughout the life of the tire so subsequent punctures are covered until you can get the tire repaired. It also does not harm the TPMS sensors.

Have had good results with Slime down in the SW in my mountain bike tires where goats heads and spiny punctures happen daily.
Also used it in both my dirt bike tires three seasons ago for nail punctures and they are still holding air.
Stuff just works.

Curious about the bicycle and dirt bike tires- I presume they were tubed tires? I've had Slime work pretty well in tubeless tires on my ATV and Tractor but not well at all on tubed tires, and yes I used the tube formula.

Yes, both tubed. Once in a while the slime wets up between the tube and the tire casing on the MTB and has to be dried out. Also, have to remove the tube occasionally to pick out thorns that stay in the tube and start to reopen. I can run my fingers over the tube and usually find a half dozen thorns.
Most othet serious riders now using Stan's and tubeless tires. I am a Dinosaur.

I also use the product when the circumstances are right, but I also find that carrying a proper repair kit lends itself to my peace of mind.

Rather than dealing with 2 tires, (Damaged one and the spare), I usually will take off the damaged one, look for and remove the item that caused the problem, plug the tire and re-inflate it.

To do that, I purchased two items... to plug it I bought the TruckSpec TSTRK3087 Tire Repair Kit. To re-inflate I use the VIAIR 00088 88P portable air compressor. Good for up to 120psi. Extremely powerful, fast and quiet.

Both can be found at Amazon.
