I have a 2016 T350 Ford Transit van with the factory navigation and Sirius radio. The radio keeps stopping and it says acquiring signal. I have had it at Ford 5 times to fix this, the last time I was told know about it and is working on a fix. Anyone with this problem? was it fixed? Anyone with a Sirius that works Ok in a Transit?

My Sirius seems to be working fine. There are some places in the city that it cuts out but otherwise it is good. I am wondering how long the free Sirius will last?

I haven't used it much, don't listen to the radio very often, but it worked fine when I tried it.

However, I usually keep the map display up and have noticed it saying it's lost the GPS signal a number of times. One time, on the trip home from KC, it said that for many miles down I-35 in the middle of nowhere so certainly wasn't a problem with tall buildings.

So after 5 years will I no longer have GPS/maps or will I just not be able to update the maps?

The maps are built in, updates to those are from Ford.

The Sirius traffic/travel subscription gives you real-time traffic info and "travel data" like gas stations with prices, stuff like that.

I haven't actually noticed the traffic info on mine yet, now I think about it. On Google Maps it's the red/yellow/green lines drawn alongside major arteries to show congestion or slowdowns. I think that's how they showed it on my Nissan (it had a 3-month free subscription) but that was a year ago so I'm not certain. Need to tinker with that more.

I'm hoping long before the free 5 year subscription is up I have Car Play / Android Auto and will just use Google Maps as I like it far better than the stock mapping app.
