The local surf shop here sells a ton of those and the guys that work there have them too. I haven't used one, but I like the concept.

I've got one of these and I love it:

Actually have the Ivation one, but it's the same. Leave it in the van in the summer and the water is always warm ;)

Big Kahuna Shower

I just purchased thru Amazon the Big Kahuna Shower. It's powered by a 12Volt plug in to your cigar lighter. My unit carries 8 gallons, has it's own German made immersible pump and shower head attachment. It requires no pressure because it is all built in the unit! Great for washing off surfboards, bikes and if you leave it in the sun a nice hot shower.

A simple heated shower water tank can be made using a submersible DC pump and a RV 120 volt water heater conversion kit. Kit includes a 625 watt cartridge heating element and a thermostat. With a vehicle powered 1000 watt inverter it takes 30 minutes to heat the water in the tank to 90 degrees. Pump discharges into a garden hose and garden nozzle. Tank is not pressurized and all the water in the tank is the same temperature so no hot/cold water mixing or plumbing.
