Short exhaust

Any one perturbed about the short exhaust pipe on the ext version
It ends under the vehicle.. At idle it come right up under the bumper in the rear into your face as your loading the van.. Bad design ? any thoughts..

Maybe they were afraid it would bottom out on steeper grades.

Yeah I thought for CO reasons you needed a TAIL pipe or else a stack to be safe.
