Is there anything difficult about replacing the wider of the two belts? Looks pretty straight forward from the top.

No speculation, please. Only comment if you've done it. That, or a reliable YouTube video. I can't go through them at the moment.

Well, success. 45 minutes to change the main serpentine belt in a Sobeys parking lot with only a 15mm wrench at -12°C. I thank the designers for not making it stupid. The spring tensioner pulley and bolt are obscured from view from the top, but trust me - they're there. It would be much easier with a cooler engine (one burn, back of right hand), and getting the belt around the crank pulley may have been easier from the bottom (but I wasn't to be laying in the slush.) I'm also lucky the wrench is the same size as the oil drain plug, otherwise I wouldn't have one.
