Hello, my name's Josh. I'm an engineering student at Daytona State College and for my senior design project I'm making a portable hydroelectric generator capable of producing up to 1500 watts in fast current. The idea came from research on a van conversion I plan to do after college that's fully solar powered. This device would add a huge amount of energy to the battery charging system and would be able to run 24 hours a day unlike the solar panels. I just have a quick 2 question survey to get some data for the project if anyone would like to help me out. Thanks!

Corps of Engineers might require a permit to place anything in a stream and environmentalists will have issues.

Josh, good luck on your project. Been there done that in 2003.
Everyone please remember this is pure hypothetical rhetoric. This is not a real product.
The exercise Josh is experiencing is to further knowledge and gaining insight of how to bring a product to market.
