Thanks. I was most interested in how you secure your ramp to the carrier. My ramp LINK is bi-fold and solid aluminum surface. I'd like to transport it outside the van but I'm concerned the wind might catch it an turn it into a sail.

My ramp isn't solid so I just run ratchet straps through and around it. You could always drill a small hole or bolt on an eye bolt or something to secure it. Or possibly lie it flat and strap it down.

This chain setup is something I saw on another dirt bike forum and I figured it was worth $50 to try it out. So far I love it and my bike is secure while also being tucked right against the wall. I wanted my cot or a fold down bed to fit with my bike and this solution makes that easy.
