this is my first time using this so I'm not sure how it works. but.

i just bought a 2015 transit wagon 150 rwb low roof.

the passenger seating configuration is really strange,

-front row is two seat
-second row is two seat split with a single seat
-third row is a 3 seat bench

my question is,

are there seat mounts under the floor board so that i can move my 3 seat bench from row three up to the front row? I'm trying to build out the back for camping with my family but i need to seat 3 in the back.

thanks for your help!

Welcome and conrgrats on the purchase. Yours is a common situation, many want to remove or reconfigure the seats. Others will chime in soon but I think you need to run them in those positions.

You may consider moving the tracks themselves in order to suit your needs.

Yeah someone can but it gets asked so many times people just tend to move on. I don't own a wagon, mine is a van but in my research I am about certain that none of the seats interchange. The spacing and layout is different for all the seats.

As USMC Vet said, there are some good threads where seating configurations are discussed, if you have trouble finding ones with the specific details you need let us know and someone can help.

Bottom line is that there are no additional seat rails other than what you see in your vehicle, they differ based on the configuration as delivered( 8, 10, 12,15 or 15 EL). Ford designed these to be used as manufactured with the option to remove seats if needed, but not for mix and match.
However, some of the seats can be moved to other locations, some cannot.

Frustrating. The Nissan NV has over 300 different seating configurations in every passenger van. Seats are designed to mix and match, and they have an alternate track for each seat row that's several inches behind the first one. We came close to getting one, but the Transit was the better overall package.

Really wish they would have realized that many of us would like to re-arrange our seating.

Like everything there is compromise. Sure the seating is great but you get lots of ugly and shite mileage. That is an aging design at this point. The Ford is superior in many ways - I chose to customize the seating.

My wagon is on order, but I plan on doing the same with this van as I did with my E350 15 passenger van. I removed the 3 rows of 3 seats and moved the back 4 person seat up, but behind the original mounting position of the second row seat. I used the rear bolt holes for the front of the seats and then drilled new holes with reinforcement plates underneath to mount the rear part of the seats. In the E350 I got 6 passenger seating with double the leg room for the passenger seat plus an 8' cargo area for motorcycles, camping gear, car spares, etc. I'll document my moto conversion after I get my new van which is planned to arrive mid June. My new van should have even more cargo space since it is 23" longer than the E350.

Ford may not offer selectable seating options, but you can make it work if you are willing to do a little garage fabrication.
