I just got a seat-back cargo-net pocket. While I had originally had a hard time finding something like this, it turns out there are a lot of China-based Amazon sellers with them, and more on Ebay. Prices vary. I got this one for $4.17 cents, delivered -- and, the price has gone down! Took 3 weeks to arrive. Here's the Ebay link I used:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/272101338342?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

The piece attaches with a 2-inch strip of Velcro at each side. The net pocket opens at the top, and has reinforcing elastic bands at the top and bottom.

My original desire was to keep a bottle of hand sanitizer behind the seat, so that I could reach it while standing at the driver door. This net pocket will not work for that, because it does not have the substance to support one-hand pumping. Instead, I'll probably use it to keep a litter bag. Or, something else... it will be handy.

I am also aware that there's at least one company that makes "tactical" accessories that Velcro onto seat backs -- but, I have not been able to find it online. I did find that that there are Velcro accessories for gun safes that may be useful, but, they seem over priced.

I know some of you have seat-back accessories -- either Velcro, or hang-by-the-headrest type... but, I can't recall anyone telling about them. So, this would be a good thread to add to... to become a good reference.

I looked at that one, but ended up getting this one.

What holds the female part of the Velcro onto the seat itself?
If it's adhesive, seems suspect?...I'm looking to get something like this for large map-book so needs to be able to hold weight.
I don't know about your seats (leather, maybe?), but, my vinyl seat has a fuzzy back, which the Velcro latches onto with great tenacity. The cloth seats in my Dakota, and vinyl seats in a friends old F-150 have the same fuzzy back. It's pretty common.

That listing confuses me a bit... it's a seat cover with "five pockets," but, I can't tell which, since the pics show a lot more than 5 pockets all over the back, and sides of the seat bottom.

As shown, that's a lot of storage!
It uses PALS attachment grid....

It is also referred to as MOLLE style.

This allows you to attach multiple pouches or components to the back of the seat. It also has flaps that go over the front and sides of the seat with additional PALS grids. I have small pouches for flashlights, phone charging cords, first aid kits etc. I use the front one for my gun holster.
Do a search on Amazon for MOLLE and you can see the types of gear that can attach to it.

OK, I get all that. But, it appears that there's not a single photo in the listing, of just the part you'd be buying up front.

Do those MOLLE pieces attach to Velcro fuzz, alone? It looks like they might. That would greatly expand what I could stick on my fuzzy seat back.

All of the pouches you see in the photo come with seat cover. I added more in my van.

There is a small patch at the top for velcro fuzz. The MOLLE pouches use straps. The straps on the pouch go through the PALS straps and snap/velcro/lock into place.

Here is a quick guide on how they attach.

hawkeng, could you post or PM of a picture of it in your Transit. Amazon says it won't fit my chair so I would like to see it installed. Thanks

I actually do not have the factory seats installed anymore. I have aftermarket conversion van seats. The sides are adjustable velcro straps and the front uses bungie cords with hooks. I will take a pic when I get home tonight.

Sorry this took so Long. I got 2 new foster kids on Monday and the house has been busy.

Here you go.......
As you can see, they are adjustable velcro side straps so they can be installed on just about any seat. I would maybe remove the strap next to the airbag.
