Since the Transit is available in three roof heights how can I tell from the window sticker what height the roof is. This is while looking at the dealer website inventory. I'm guessing there may be some indication in the vin??

Go to the Matt Ford website, then look at NEW CARS, go to the right side of page to TRANSIT CUSTOMERS PAY LESS AT MATT FORD, then go to TransitBodyDecoder.com and this gives you the body codes which are the 5th thru 7th digits of the VIN

After awhile you can tell just by looking. The low roof is right over the windows. The medium roof has a nice looking space. The high roof looks high indeed, with a body line contour where the medium roof line would be ... .

Btw for length, look at the sliding door track. On a short wb it ends at the tail lights. On long it has a gap, with a bigger gap for extended.

I seem to recall the window stickers would have LR, MR, HR to indicate roof height.

The window stickers I've looked at indicate in the first line at the top which roof height they are with the designations EddieZ listed.

On the top left it has TRANSIT in large letters, and right under it has something like
2016 Transit LR/MR/HR 150/250/350 Van/Wagon

(Low Roof, Medium Roof, High Roof)

Mine did. Upper left - first line under the large Transit text.

What is interesting is nowhere on the sticker do I see mine is EL.

The only way you know it is the 148" Extended Length is in the VIN code 5th to 7th digit. Nothing specifically noted on the window sticker heading for description.

As stated in the previous posts, this came straight from TransitBodyDecoder.com if you look at the 5th to 7th digit which is in the first column.
