Ford today announced two safety recalls today. The first one is for "2013-15 Ford Taurus, Ford Flex, Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKT vehicles with 3.5-liter gasoline turbocharged direct injection engines, as well as Ford Police Interceptor sedans to replace fuel pump control modules."

The Transit isn't listed on this one, and my 3.5L VIN didn't pull up anything, but:
* is this the same or similar 3.5L EcoBoost engine as in Transits?
Note that others on this forum have reported problems with stalling etc due to bad throttle control module failures:
http://www.fordtransitusaforum.com/...on/28282-throttle-control-module-failure.html
http://www.fordtransitusaforum.com/...-base-throttle-body-failure-6800-miles-2.html
I'll post a separate thread about the second recall for some diesel Transits.
Thoughts?
