Yeah it is amazing the incompetence displayed by many in business nowadays.
That 60' cable is way overkill on many vehicles, luckily I was able to stuff all the excess down in a body channel in the left rear corner before running the rest up front.
I had hoped I could pop open their connectors to unsolder or remove pins to both shorten the cable and make it a lot easier to run without having to find or make holes large enough to get that connector through...but nope- it is molded on.
I was able to Dremel a small notch under the rear clearance light assembly and sneak the cable under the lamp that way, sealed well with silicone. I was determined I was not going to drill a 20mm hole in my roof so glad that worked out.
Looking at the pics of the OEM backup camera view vs what I get with the RVS high mount, I'm very glad my T350 didn't have one already.
After this one proves out I think I'm going to order a 2nd camera and their RV hitch disconnect and put one on the back of my travel trailer.
