Got this to jack the rear axle for tire rotation, etc. Perhaps the single crappiest tool ever built, but hey, it fits (barely) between the shock mount and the tire and actually works. I got exactly what I expected, considering it's half the price of the identical model Harbor Freight sells. That's saying something.

True that. I think the 3 or four times a year I need to rotate or do brake work it will be fine. The hoses will likely rot out before the cylinder or air motor goes. All the same I plan to oil the crap out of it and prepare for the worst. I can screw out the shaft until the puck is almost touching the axle prior to lifting. That way if it blows out I can still get a partially deflated tire back on. I have an RV jack that works, but pumping it is a pita as it ends up completely under the van. This thing is also a lot more stable than a floor jack. I lifted the van with it and tried to rock it. Van would not budge.
