I'm trying to convince my company to buy a e-transit for our next van. Is the 126 mile range empty or with a full payload (which I see is rated at 3800 lbs)?
That seems like substantial payload that would significantly impact range in one or direction or the other. I have to imagine it's empty, because if it Ford could claim 200 miles range (empty) I think they would do that. On other hand, if while carrying 3,800 lbs the range drops down to 80 miles (and that's before taking into account it only being charged to 80% daily), that's not a lot of range.
Is there any real world experience with this yet?
Thanks
