hello folks, thanks for the info on these Transit forums. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a RWB MR Diesel which I will then have Quigley turn into a 4X4. 2 main areas of questions:
One option missing on the one I found at a dealer was the Manual Regen Initiation (w/ Active Regen Inhibitor). I've asked them if they can install this (no reply yet) but am I correct in thinking that this is a must for a vehicle that will be used for multi day camping (solar and diesel Webasto heater) with occasional idling? Other question is the Driver seat. I think the one I'm looking at has the base model seats; is the power driver seat significantly better? Does the base model have at least some manual adjustments e.g. Lumbar, Height? I'll read thru the forums some more but any inputs on seats is welcomed. I would like to have heated front seats if possible but I haven't seen that as a cargo van option on ford.com. Any aftermarket recommendations there? Also I thought I read somewhere that the upgraded seats have side airbags but perhaps that was another vehicle.
