How's the demand for new vans now in general? Ford keeps moving away from the things I would like in a van. Like the 130 MR, 10 easy removable seats, and now the EXT running boards. I'm also having trouble liking the offerings from Toyota in the their latest 4x4s. Is it just me or are others keeping the old instead of buying new?

 

You can still get the 12 passenger seating with ALL of the seats being removable with the quick release handles that makes it available like a cargo van. You have the van that so many people ask about......130" WB passenger vans that Ford no longer makes and would be a great thing to have since they do not make the Transit Connect any longer.

Most are hanging onto their earlier Transit vehicles especially the ones like yours...130" WB ones as well as the Dual Sliding Side Doors, and of course the CrewVan which I need some help getting it back in production.

 

Thanks .... Good reminder that the newer 12 seat model would be a good substitute for the older 10 seat model ...... as long as the 'D' 36 inch double seat can be put up into the 'K' 54 inch triple seat spot.

It also looks like the rear most set of 'J' seats in the 12 seat model is easier to remove than the long and v.e.r.y. heavy 'C' bench seat from prior years. I don't think Ford makes the 'C' bench anymore. That's a plus.

So... $77k for a vehicle large enough to haul my family (and stuff) around in? Going to be holding onto the 2019 for awhile.

 

Some of the price difference in the 2015-19 and the later 2020 and especially the 2023-up is the high end electronics that have been added to the later models. Of course the base price has increased significantly and a lot of that is the increased labor cost from the last UAW contract.

 

Ford Pro is the most profitable division.

If everything goes as planed, I may be confirming my X9C order very soon, like next week with my dealer.
About how long would the build take till delivery. Just a rough estimate.
It is a delete seat and nothing that would get it "balanced out" I believe.

ALL 2024 VINs have been issued so if you do not NOW have a 17 digit VIN and projected build date, your order is going to a 'Unscheduled - Balanced Out' status...aka cancelled.

 

Ford has now moved ALL of the 'Unscheduled - Clean' to
'Unscheduled - Balanced Out'
aka CANCELLED so you will have to resubmit your order as a 2025 order. No way to 'rollover' the 2024 order as they are on separate order systems.

 

With the $500 rebate now offered on the 2024 passenger vans, this makes the difference even more $$ you can save by getting the 2024 model versus the 2025 model.
