Well these are easy to fit and do keep out the rain with the window part open. But after only 3 months in the Texas heat the adhesive has turned tacky and therefore useless. Will repair with 3M VHB tape which I know I can trust.

I should have said these are Ford products purchased on Amazon.

I took the advice of forum members here, removed as much of the old adhesive as possible, and cut some 3M double-sided stickum to secure them. That was a few months ago, and so far they've remained as solidly attached as ever.

The problem is cutting the stickum to match the curved contours of the deflectors. Eventually I realized that you can't see the excess stickum at the bottom of the flat section that actually adheres to the van because the deflectors are so dark. So all I had to do was make sure that the top part was cut cleanly to shape.

EJB

Mine have been holding fine for a year, so it must not be as hot around here or I'm just lucky so far. Summer here is 80-95f for about 2-3 months, a couple 100f days.

I love the deflectors for camping in the rain. The downside is I have to really take extra caution at intersections as they make the A pillar bling spot substantially wider.

That one from amazon is not for a low roof. Remember our windows have different sizes.. It also kinna on a thin side compare the OEM ones. I got lucky from a member here that didnt want his and already cleaned up the tape on it. I already have the VHB 3M tape Im just too lazy to put it on. Goo Gone is your friend and alcohol to clean it before installing the new tape.

Anyone tried the hood deflectors yet? Which ones is good?

I must be really stressed due to losing my van I ordered...and trying to configure another...

I saw wind deflectors on the old order but cannot find them now. Are they part of a package? Do you have a code number for them? (HR )
