My 2015 XL wagon did not come with a backup camera. It has the radio with CD player. In this configuration the Transits use the small screen above the radio for the backup monitor. I'd like to know what parts would have to be ordered to add this feature. I'm guessing that it might be as simple as adding a factory back up camera and maybe a dealer flash?

Factory cam isn't all that anyway, you would probably spend significantly less for a better product aftermarketwise.

BEMM mentions an IPMB Image processing Module B.

Here's the Ford Part websites part numbers -- Part Numbers: 19G490, 19h405 (possibly), and unlikely 13412, and 19H511 (new emblem/camera receptacle) -- All told at least $318 by my count.

At 4" the factory monitor is worthless for me....too small.
Hopefully some vender will sell a larger screen that can be plugged into the existing wiring. The dashboard housing is large enough for a larger screen. The existing 4" display is 2" tall. A 3 1/4" tall screen could be installed in front of the existing opening. Plenty of width available for a wider screen.

Anyone know a source?

I'm leaning this way, since it covers 3 things I want.
1. Dedicated GPS
2. Dash cam (on the lower model)
3. Bluetooth backup camera option (since I no longer have use of my mirror, bulkhead blocks my view. Would replace my mirror with this and wire cam with a switch to enable use whenever I need it.

I have a nice big Garmin that we bought at Costco last year. The one you are linking to looks even better. After you use the Garmin a while you will wonder how did you ever get along without it! My wife has now become a good navigator.....between the two of them I only have to drive down the road. Using the Garmin, she found us a real nice little campground in Nevada, in the middle of nowhere, that I would have zipped right by. Sometimes I argue with the thing, but in the end it's usually the winner.

I agree! I had a Garmin up until about 2012 and have been wanting one again. I have yet to be wowed by any of the automakers versions of GPS, Google Maps has been adequate but could be better along with Waze. I had even purchased lifetime updates back in the day and now it's included .
