Hey gang! New here, first post. Please redirect if this has been answered but I haven't been able to locate it. Looking at purchasing a HR 350 passenger and creating a crew van of sorts. I'd like to deactivate / simulate only the curtain airbags behind the one row of crew seats. Is this possible? Also, what else is going on behind these giant interiors up top? I figure AC lines, some wiring and the airbags. Anything else happening? I'd like to remove everything if possible but still keep my kids safe in row 1 behind the driver seat. We'd even like to install a bulkhead if possible. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

There are multiple inflators along each sides curtain air bags... But, they are still all one set going all the way back. I don't believe they have independent chambers from what I could tell. I briefly considered the same, but once I dug into it, I just ripped the entire thing out of both sides and sold them on ebay.
There are wiring harnesses along the upper corners going all the way to the back, but no AC lines (just vents and ducts). Those lines run under the van to the back corner... at least they did in mine. I framed around the AC with one of my benches and kept just a single large vent in the rear corner.

Also, the airbag simulators I used are on ebay called "6PC SRS Airbag Car Simulator Emulator Resistor Bypass Fault Finding Diagnostic" and cost just under $6. They may not have been a 'perfect' fit, but they did fit. They worked great as I have never had an airbag light on. You need one for each inflator (four total). I disconnected the battery as advised when doing this.

Well, that was the original idea to buy a 2020 crew. Can't find one. Also, can't afford one. Looked into Sprinters but the maintenance scares the crap outta me.
