Overhead Reading Lights

2830 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  acork
Two days after driving my Transit off the lot, the overhead reading lights and the overhead dome light that sits between the reading lights stopped working. After replacing fuse F25 - Interior Lights (see owners manual below, page 192), the center dome light came back on but the reading lights are still not working. Has anyone else seen this issue? Any suggestions?

Probably a loose connection. Not uncommon on new vehicles. If you can pull the light unit out that is the most likely place to find it.

Thanks for the suggestion. You were right on. I pulled the unit out from the ceiling and found that the connection is very flaky and was bouncing in and out. Taking it back to the dealership next week.
