Hey all -

I think I might be missing a piece of hardware. Take a look at this seat base and rail, which I bought sight unseen and just received.

Can anyone show/tell me how the rear part of a seat (this one's a single) is meant to attach to the rail? Am I missing a piece?

Thanks!

The single does not have the clip the other seats have- the rear of it bolts down.
That rail you show is not for a single seat if it has two loops.

Very helpful, thanks! This is indeed a single seat and a rail that has two clips/loops.

So does the correct rail have a female threaded part to accept a bolt that goes through the seat base?

I bought the items from NorCalVans. With any luck they'll send the right rails up.

Yes the single seat rails have a threaded part the rear of the seat bolts into.
If they send you the right rails make sure you get the bolts too...they are high strength metric.

Just thought I'd follow up and say that Nor-Cal Vans was totally responsive, found the correct rails and bolts, and is shipping them to me right away.

If you're in the market for some OEM seats, I recommend getting in touch with them. http://www.nor-calvans.com

Budsky, thanks again for helping me sort this out!
