Posting these products in case others want to use nontoxic products as much as possible in their builds. I am chemically sensitive, so it is critical for me.

If other folks have information on other products to post that would be great.

Ecos brand water based polyurethane varnish, Zero VOCs, almost no odor wet, odorless after drying. Clean up with warm water and soap. Works well. Great product and company. Available for order through the Home Depot website.

Xcel high strentgh construction adhesives: They make a Universal Bond and Seal, Instant Grab Adhesive, Universal Clear Bond, and a Marine Bond and Seal. These are top notch, Zero VOC, Odorless, and even food safe. Their brochure says certified organic by USDA. They are made in the UK and I have only been able to find them from one USA seller on Amazon so far.

General Finishes makes some very good commercial grade waterborne wood coatings, and it’s not too hard to find in retail outlets like lumber yards and Rockler stores.

Check out OSMO finishes, I used it in my home for a walnut top on our kitchen island. They are a natural vegetable oil/wax-based finish, German made 100% safe.
