I have a 2019 w/ the expensive and rare (haha) PATS option. Having PATS just means you need chipped keys and to add a new key all keys need to be reprogrammed at the same time. I had a local mobile locksmith cut/pgm 2 additional non fob keys for around 150$ in my driveway.
Not sure if PATS is rare, but it is a pretty cheap option, esp considering what it gives you security wise. Without it anyone with a screwdriver can break the ignition lock and start the van like a pinto from 1975.
Here is a look at the current Ford Transit inventory by year model. Since ALL of the 2019s models other than the Amazon vans are built, these numbers should be the largest numbers for the 2019 model.

2018 - 793
2019 - 16173

I confirm that, at least in the case of my van, a 245/75R16 spare fits in the normal position. I have a 2016, 148 in. WB, extended with the factory hitch receiver. The radius of curvature of the recess in the body just matches that of the outside of the tire and the tire clears the forward...
Reviewing and considering ordering options. Any one have a handle on that 47E package for the XLT Wagon (mid roof, long)?? Seems to be everything except the flooring and the seats and rails. The question is, is the van prepped for the rails so in essence I put in the rails and bolt...
Apologies if this is the wrong forum.
Found this for $20K near me:
2015 Transit 350 HD High roof
3.2L 5 Cyl. diesel
What life past 160K should I expect from one of these diesel engines? (considering the best case, the van was cared for like a baby)
I'm a shade tree mechanic...
