Joined the forum. I am adding tuning support for the Ford Transit into HP Tuners VCM Suite, so that you guys may make calibration changes to your vehicles.

I've never used a tuner and I'm curious, what all can be done with one? I've spent a fair bit of time reading the F150 forums for info on the Ecoboost engine and many of the posters use tuners - but they're mostly all about power and speed.

I'd be more interested in fuel economy and engine longevity, is there much that can be done for that over factory?

Maybe adjusting shift points if my OCD self doesn't like where they happen by default?

Adjusting speedo for different tire sizes?

Maybe even adding / removing various options? (Perhaps adding modules that were forgotten at order time - trailer brake controllers, auto-lamp sensors, etc...)
