Dang, nice find. What a deal. I expect to get another 4 years out of my originals. Don't really need a set sitting around for that long. Storage space aside, 'they' say tires age out, even sitting in stock.


I wonder what tires were so necessary that they replaced these for an entire fleet...?

Good ones lol.

Mine wear like steel and work ok in dry and wet pavement. Little to no traction in snow, mud or wet grass though.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life. I had forgot to bookmark the link. My Conti's are about shot and will likely not pass the next inspection, so I just ordered 4 of their 5 remaining Hankooks.

I ordered 2 of them and got this reply back this morning

Doug, I believe we should be able to fill your order however we do have 20 retail stores who also have access to these same tires so sometimes orders placed over the weekend can be subject to availability but I will check status first thing in the morning and let you know right away.

Another email explained their other stores sold them all and the online inventory had not reflected the change. :-(

I got a set of cooper discoverer ht3 installed for $600. I thought those hankooks were terrible. I could not get them to balance good.
